This owl is in the works. This is my first pattern using the Cricut cutter. The Cricut worked very well. Quick to cut the pattern, Stick the pattern pieces on the glass and cut. There were a few pieces that when I started grinding lost their sticky. These pattern pieces here handles a few times to place them on the glass. The majority of the pieces stayed stuck to the glass until I pieced them off after the grinding process
This owl also have the Fremont Antique Glow Glass for the eyes. This look amazing in the dark. Can not wait to see it all soldered and patinaed black at night. The eyes glow in the dark after the those pieces have been charged with light. what is in the picture is only maybe half hour of charge time on LED lights. I am guessing with more intense light these will glow bright.
The colors of the owl were a joint effort with between myself and my wife. When all done she will be hanging this piece in her office at work.
