This piece of stained glass I am working on takes to a few firsts and using different tools. This piece of stained glass is all straight and basis geometric lines. I am not using a pattern, in the sense of printing out a paper copy or vinyl on my Cricut. This is all but free form using my Beetle Bits cutting system. I will also be learning how to use zinc came to board the final piece. More pictures to come as I get the other pieces cut.
- Sawtooth Quilt Square – This is the center of the quilt square design.
- Rough Cuts – All pieces are cut out. All pieces were cut with the Beetle Bits Cutting System.
- The Grind – The first pass with the grinder. Not much was needed. At this point I always take a day or two break from a project and come back with a fresh set of eyes before cleaning and foiling just incase need to grind a bit more to make everything fit well.
